Hi, my name is Mel and with my business partner Nicky we have built Meleficent Cleaning to what it is today... Here is our story...

Our little company started on an exceedingly small basis with us working out of one of our front rooms. We knew we were particularly good at cleaning and how difficult it is trying to keep our houses clean and tidy with children running about and the day to day running of a home.

​

We started with the school mums and offered our new services as a cleaning company and was delighted that they showed interest. With a box of cleaning products in our car boot off we went to start.

We were pleasantly surprised with how quickly the demand was for cleaners and our business grew. After a couple of months, we realised that we could not cover all the interest. We then employed 2 more staff and set them up part time helping us.

After 9 months we bought our first van and took on another 6 cleaners.

​

Through word of mouth, estate agents were contacting us to complete end of tenancy cleans.

One year after this, we then introduced cleaning for serviced accommodations, and we have found that this is a popular service we can offer. We cover all of Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford and Northampton and surrounding areas.

The company is now 3 years old. We have 16 employees, a new van and even our own office which is based in Stony Stratford. After all the hard work, we are delighted that it was worth it.

​

We will continue to strive to expand our company and we are hoping next year we can branch out to Stevenage, Oxford, Cambridge and maybe even London… wish us luck!

 

We are incredibly grateful for all the hard work that all our employees have put in as we can fully trust them to get the job done to the standards we set.
